While they were decently priced, you definitely get what you pay for. 6 of the 12 poles cracked when I inserted the spikes. The spikes still stayed in securely enough, so I planted them in the ground like that and shot a message to the vendor to let them know, thinking maybe they'd send new poles for those ones. Vendor responded quickly, but wanted photos. Not having a fancy phone, my camera was unable to capture a good shot of the cracks, especially once I took them out of the ground and they were packed with soil. So it is what it is. They are cute lights, and all but one has lit up so far, so I moved that one to a different location to see if it just needs better access to sun.UPDATED review to 5 stars as the seller reached out and settled the issue. The lights are all working, too!
